You can file ITR-3 yourself. We prepare the accounts it asks for.
ITR-3 asks every trader for a trading account, a profit and loss, and a balance sheet — figures no broker report gives you. Send us your reports and get all three worked out in 8 business hours, in the form's own order, every number showing the sheet and row it came from. You review it and file it.

Income from intraday trading credited to P&L71,240Equity and Non Equity!row 6 (Intraday/Speculative profit)
Computed by the live engine from a sample Zerodha workbook.
ITR-3 for AY 2026-27 added four mandatory Trading Account fields: F&O turnover, F&O income, intraday turnover, intraday income.
Leave one of them blank and your return can come back as defective under section 139(9). Those four figures are the first thing your working gives you, each one showing where it came from.
What you get, and what you do with it.
We do the working, in ITR-3's own order, so filing it is data entry rather than accounting. The calls that genuinely need judgment stay visible on the face of the working instead of being buried inside a number.
What lands in your inbox
Your F&O and intraday turnover, worked out the way the tax audit rules ask for
The four Trading Account figures ITR-3 now asks every trader for
A balance sheet and profit-and-loss working, in ITR-3's own layout
Whether a tax audit applies to you, with the numbers behind it
Every figure showing the sheet, row, and label it came from
What you do with it
Type the figures into ITR-3 — they are laid out in the form's own order
Send us the documents our flags ask for, and get the working updated
Settle the judgment calls we flag, alone or with a CA if your case needs one
Fill in the rest of the return — salary, interest, capital gains
Verify and submit it on the portal
Every number can be traced back to your own files.
Nothing is estimated to make the page look finished. Where your records fall short, the working says so.
Gaps are flagged, never plugged
A balance sheet that tallies because someone invented a number is worse than one that openly does not. Where the records fall short, the working names the document that would close it and asks you for it.
Blockercash-balance-not-derivable
Part A-BS item 6(d) cash balance cannot be derived from a broker statement. Supply the client's bank/cash balance as at 31-03-2026 before filing; it is left at zero here rather than plugged.
Real output from the sample workbook below.
Read across every statement
Your P&L, turnover, charges, ledger, and open positions are checked against one another, not taken one sheet at a time.
Laid out the way ITR-3 asks
Each figure sits under the schedule and field it belongs to, so you can type it in yourself — or hand the same working to a CA. You or your CA reviews the documents and decides the final position; nothing is ever filed for you.
The deliverable
This is what lands in your inbox.
A real working, prepared from a sample Zerodha workbook and regenerated every time this site is built. Nothing here is a mockup.
Stock-in-trade (open positions at cost)0derived: sum of closing open positions: quantity x average price
Cash balance0derived: not derivable from the broker statement, requires the client bank balance
No section 44AB test triggers on these inputs.
Open items to close before you file
Reviewdelivery-trades-present
Delivery equity gains/losses are present. This pack treats them as capital gains (Schedule CG) and excludes them from business turnover. If the CA is treating delivery trades as business income for this client, these figures must be moved into the trading account manually.
Reviewexpenses-require-allocation
Rs.9,538 of equity-segment charges cover both intraday (business) and delivery (capital gains) trades. Zerodha does not split them. Allocate before finalising net profit. This amount is currently excluded from the P&L.
Reviewgross-receipts-interpretation
"Gross receipts" in Part A-P&L item 64 is filled here with ICAI-method turnover (absolute profit/loss). Some filers instead report total sale value, which for an option writer is a far larger number and will not agree with the Part A-Trading Account turnover fields. Confirm the firm's position. The two figures must be consistent across the return.
3 further open items are listed in the full working.
Four steps, from broker export to a return you can file.
Send
Your broker Tax P&L, ledger, and open positions — for every account you traded through.
Takes about five minutes, and you pay on the same screen.
We prepare
Your figures are read straight off the source sheets, never retyped, and each one keeps a pointer back to the row it came from.
Turnover, income, charges, and ledger movement are all checked against each other.
We flag
Anything your records cannot answer is written down as an open question instead of being guessed at.
A balance sheet that adds up because someone invented a number is worse than one that openly does not.
You file
You get the working with its open items and every figure in ITR-3's own order, so it goes into the form field by field — by you, or by a CA if you use one.
We never file and never pick a tax position for you: the return stays yours to submit.

Questions traders ask first.
What exactly do I get?
The ITR-3 working your return needs: your F&O and intraday turnover, worked out the way the tax audit rules ask for; the four Trading Account figures ITR-3 now asks every trader for; a balance sheet and profit-and-loss working, in ITR-3's own layout; whether a tax audit applies to you, with the numbers behind it; every figure showing the sheet, row, and label it came from — with anything your records cannot answer written down as an open question.
Do you file the return for me?
No. We prepare the working; you file it. Most people type the figures straight into the ITR-3 utility themselves, and the working is laid out in the form's own order so you know which figure goes in which field. If you would rather a chartered accountant filed it, hand them the same working.
Do I still need a CA?
Not for the arithmetic. Everything listed under “What exactly do I get?” comes worked out, each figure showing its source. A CA is worth engaging if your case turns on a judgment call we flag — a classification, a presumptive-tax history, an audit that applies — or if the rest of your return is complicated. Either way, you or your CA reviews the documents and decides the final position before filing.
Which brokers do you support?
Every listed broker is accepted at the same fee and goes through the same preparation. If your statements leave a figure unsupported, the working flags it and we ask for the document that settles it — and in the rare case we cannot prepare your working at all, you get a full refund before preparation starts.
When do I pay, and when do I get it back?
You pay on the same screen as the upload, and the finished working comes back within the stated turnaround once your records are complete.
What happens to the things my broker reports cannot show?
Anything your records cannot answer is written on the face of the working: a blocker stops the line until the missing document arrives, a review item names the judgment call and what would settle it, and an info note states an assumption you can check. We ask you for the document that closes it rather than guessing at the number. A broker file cannot show your bank balance, every movement of money in and out, or your presumptive-tax history — so those are asked for rather than assumed, and the working is never balanced with an invented figure.
