Refund and cancellation policy

Preparation begins after records are accepted, so refund eligibility depends on whether work has started and whether the agreed deliverable was supplied. Effective 1 August 2026.

Scope: ITR FNO produces automated, source-linked workpapers for CA review. It is not an e-filing service, legal opinion, tax audit, or substitute for your chartered accountant. Your CA decides the tax position and files the return.

Before preparation starts

You may request cancellation for a full refund before preparation begins on the submitted files. Payment-provider charges that are legally non-refundable may be deducted only where disclosed and permitted.

After preparation starts

Once review or preparation has begun, the service involves time that cannot be returned. If you cancel, any refund may be reduced proportionately for work completed. We will explain the calculation. No refund is due solely because your CA chooses a different tax position, additional records are needed, audit applies, or a tax outcome differs from an estimate.

If we cannot complete the order

If the submitted format is unsupported or the requested deliverable is outside scope, we may ask for an alternative file or cancel. If we cancel without delivering substantive work, the relevant service fee will be refunded. If completion is blocked by missing customer records after reasonable requests, the completed portion may remain chargeable.

Corrections

Report a suspected transcription, extraction, or arithmetic error within 14 days of delivery. We will investigate and correct an error within the agreed scope without an additional preparation fee. A new broker file, changed facts, additional financial year, or new tax position is additional scope rather than a correction.

How to request a refund

Email support@itrfno.com with the order reference, reason, and relevant evidence. Do not attach financial records unless requested through an approved channel. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; banking and payment networks control settlement timing.

Statutory rights

This policy does not remove any refund, chargeback, or consumer remedy that applicable law makes mandatory.
